"Anima una et cor unum in Deum!" (Regula)

Thought of Saint Augustine
When did the Lord want to show himself? At the breaking of the bread. We can be sure of that: by sharing the bread, we recognize the Lord.
It is night while this life is lived. And when is this night illuminated? It is lighted when Christ descends to the night. He took the flesh of this generation and our night received the light.
(En. in ps. 138,14)
Mary was happy because she listened and kept God's word. She kept the truth in her spirit more than in the flesh of her womb.
