Along with the presence of Alejandro Moral Antón, the Prior General of the Order, and Patricio Villalba, the Assistant General for Latin America, the brothers of the Province of Saint Nicholas of Tolentino of Michoacan, Mexico celebrated their 110th Ordinary Provincial Chapter. The assembly of the Chapter, in which 122 brothers participates, took place between 30 June and 4 July in the Center for Augustinian Spirituality, Yuriria, in the State of Guanajuato.

Fr. Ramon Del Rio, who was elected Prior Provincial before the Chapter, assumed his office during the Celebration of the Eucharist, the Mass of the Holy Spirit. After the sharing information of the various commissions, the Prior Provincial proposed the brothers for his council and they were elected to help him in the governing and the encouraging of the members of the Province. The elected counselors are Fr. Javier Paramo, Fr. Jose Luis Guzman, Fr. Ezequiel Gonzalez, and Fr. Lucio Paredes. Fr. Sabino Quijano was elected Provincial Secretary and Fr. Gerard Zavala was elected Provincial Treasurer.

To each one of them the thanks and the prayers of the Order are offered as they begin this new ministry for the Province.
