Thought of Saint Augustine
The absence of the Lord is not an absence. Just believe, and the one who you do not see is with you.
Do not despair, you who are blind. Come close to him, and you will be healed. You who are blind, come close to him and you will be illuminated.
Come back to your heart, and from there to God. For the path is not long from your heart to God.

Letter of Fr. General

Rome - Italy
November 13, 2011
To the members of the Order

On the occasion of the Feast of All Saints of the Order, Day of Vocations in the Order, the Prior General, Fr. Robert Prevost, wrote a letter to all Augustinians, entitled "On the Way with Young People toward the Future". The letter addresses some of the challenges of youth ministry, and at the same time, seeks to encourage all Augustinians, especially young religious, to look with hope toward the future. The Order continues to promote the ongoing renewal of our community life, offering support and friendship to those who join us, and being a sign to others of the joy of living in community, as followers of Jesus Christ.
