Order of Saint Augustine

"Anima una et cor unum in Deum!" (Regula)

Thought of Saint Augustine
So that we believe in Christ, dwell in his words. By dwelling there, we will truly be his disciples. For he doesn't have only twelve apostles as his disciples. He also has those who dwell in his word.
Your prayer is a conversation with God. When you read, it is God who is speaking, when you pray, it is with God that you are speaking.
God has to be searched and invoked in the secret of a rational soul, which is called the interior man.

Congress Of Augustinian Educators & Schools

Lima - Perù
July 30 - August 3, 2012

The Congress calls our attention to the ecclesial nature of Augustinian education. As the Church so our educational ministry is a gateway to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and offers a pathway to the fullness of the Kingdom. It is in this context that we will explore the Augustinian educational apostolate which “should always be regarded as an essentially pastoral activity, so that we teach the truth with love, and the students acquire, along with a humanistic and scientific culture, knowledge of the world, of life and of humanity that is illumined by faith.” (Constitutions of the Order, #179).

The design of the Congress includes major presentations and stresses interaction of participants. Each presentation or experience is followed by small workshops on topics within the field of the presentation. This is one of the richest experiences offered by this international Augustinian Congress.

We are hoping that each Circumscription with Educational centers and institutions will do everything possible to participate in the Congress. By the link you will find the Program and the Registration Form.
