We honor the memory of Blesseds Clement of Osimo and Augustine Novello, Priors General of the Order in its earliest years, who collaborated on the first Constitutions of the Order, those of Ratisbon issued in 1290.

Community is the axis around which Augustinian religious life turns: a community of brothers or sisters who live harmoniously in their house, united by a single soul and a single heart, seeking God together and open to the service of the Church. Spiritual communion is that which counts the most, and without it the sharing of life together in the same place is of little value.
